Sharing God’s Gifts

You are invited to join the Jubilee community in tithing as a way of giving thanks to God for how he has blessed us. Tithing means that we first set aside for the Lord’s work and then live on the rest of our income.
There is no hard and fast rule for what the percentage should be though the Bible refers to it as 10% (Lev. 27: 30-32)
We honour the statement of the Apostle Paul made in 2 Corinthians 9:7:
“All should give what they have decided in their hearts to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

To facilitate tithing online giving is available through our website as well as a set of weekly budget envelopes in which you can insert your gift in the form of a cheque or cash. The first offering each Sunday supports the ministry of Jubilee, including staff and building costs. The world-wide ministries of the Christian Reformed Church are also supported through this offering. A second offering is taken each Sunday for a variety of other Kingdom causes.
