To our Jubilee Fellowship Church family,

In light of the developing COVID-19 virus, we wanted to let you know about the decisions we have reached for this Sunday in order to ensure our community stays as safe and healthy as possible in the coming weeks.

In response to advice from the Ontario Chief Medical Officer, we have decided to not hold a worship service this Sunday and into the foreseeable future. Though risk is still relatively low, we are doing this to protect our most vulnerable members as well as our volunteers. Staying safe is how we love each other.

This Sunday’s service will be on the Jubilee website— There will be a simple order of service with prayers, spoken words and various song recordings, as well as the sermon. Please check back on our website and Facebook page for details about this online worship service!

We recommend that Life Groups find alternatives to meeting in person. We encourage you to connect and support one another through prayer, phone calls, video calls, etc. Offers to pick up groceries, make meals and other tangible expressions of care for those who may be ill, lonely or house-bound would be another way to show our love and support for each other.

All other programming such as Coffee Break and Jubilee Night are cancelled for the foreseeable future. This coming week the church office will not be open, but you may contact the staff via phone or text. If you are in need of pastoral support, please let us know.

It is our plan to monitor the situation closely and to provide updates on a weekly basis to keep us connected as a church family. We can trust that God will continue to take good care of us.

Be well and stay safe!
